Dean’s Tuition Fellowship Awards

  1. About: highly selective and limited awards that are granted on the basis of need and merit, that typically amount to 20% to 30% of the total cost of tuition

  2. Eligibility: all applicants are automatically eligible for consideration; applicants to the LL.M. program must hold a first law degree from the U.S. or abroad prior to commencing their coursework in August in order to be eligible for admission

  3. Requirements: no application is necessary; applicants may provide any additional details that they believe may be compelling for consideration by the Graduate Studies Committee in the “Finances” section of the online application; grantees will be notified by the LL.M. Program after receiving their offer of admission; apply online to the LL.M. Program by February 15, 2018

Brooklyn Law School

Scholarship/ tuition waiver:
Scholarships for tuition are offered in amounts that range from approximately USD $6.000 to USD $25.000. Any candidate that receives an interview at LEXPO Zurich, is awarded a scholarship as a result of the interview and will qualify for a tuition remission scholarship of at least USD $12.000. Those candidates who are very well-qualified applicants may qualify for more than USD $12.000.

Scholarship/ tuition waiver:
UConn Law has two types of scholarships available to students from the Lawbility conference who apply and choose to attend:

  1. Dean’s Scholarships: these are merit-based scholarships in amounts ranging from $2,000-8,000 based on the overall admissions received which would include grades, a writing sample, recommendations and a completed application.

  2. Anthony Smits: Students coming to UConn Law through the Lawbility conference will be considered for the Anthony Smits scholarship. This is an endowed fund that offers approximately 4 students annually support in a monetary value from $3,000 to $6,000.
